The pads are decent, but they could be better. It is easy to set up and get started. For this price it’s a great deal. Create sounds, beats, and eventually songs using only this instrament. Makes laying a bass line or toned drum line in the correct key very easy and effortless.

I’ve seen aftermarket pads Fatty pads that raise the buttons higher above the case with cork bottoms to get more response out of this simple tool. It is easy to set up and get uzb.
This is definately a good deal for beginnrs. One Styrofoam insert is broken.
Can fit it in my aakai pack with my Ipad and a couple of chords and I can construct a beat anywhere. You aren’t limited to just the 16 pads on the face of the MPD Very portable and light weight. I use it both live and in the studio. You can access three different banks of sounds from the Uzb pads for a total of 48 sounds at your fingertips. I’ve been playing around with this for about a week now and really only have one complaint, thats that the buttons are too shallow within the casing and it could be more responsive.
